Description of the jobA vacancy for a Corporate Finance Applications Specialist – Technical Analyst (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Group Corporate Functions in Munich/Ottobrunn. The successful applicant will join “FTCS - Treasury Applications”.An example of a job in 'Finance' within Airbus GroupTasks & accountabilitiesThe Airbus Corporate Finance department 'FTC - Corporate Finance Controlling' acts as an in-house bank managing market transactions from the company's Corporate Finance Department. Within FTC you will be part of the production support team, responsible for the successful operation of the main application, Calypso, in both day-to-day business and projects. You will interact directly with the business users in Airbus Group entities world-wide and the on-site business and you will be in charge of the technical analysis of production issues and change requests as well as the implementation, testing and documentation of the agreed solutions. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: · Liaising with Business Analysts and directly with Business users over a range of issues and implementing technical solutions to those issues in a timely manner · Managing projects from beginning to end and actively chasing users, analysts and any other stakeholders to ensure projects get delivered successfully · Actively setting up meetings and phone calls in order to push projects or issues forward · Adhering to the coding standards and in-house best practices · Advising on technical solutions and feasibility for production issues and change requests · Developing a good relationship with all stakeholders e.g. Front-Office, Middle-Office, Back-Office, Accounting, Corporate IT or other service providers · Safeguarding the general architecture of the system and the treasury concept it represents · Supporting the formulation of a technical vision that allows for long-term extensions

Desired profile

Required skillsWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: · Educated to degree level in Information Technology or equivalent · Experience in Java programming and SQL; JBOSS Seam would be a an advantage · Basic knowledge of treasury and finance · Calypso knowledge would be an advantage · Excellent interpersonal and communications skills · Customer-oriented way of working as well as the ability to learn quickly · Highly-committed and innovative attitude to develop solutions for treasury and finance applications · Fluent German and English skills
