Airbus Helicopters is looking for a System / SW Engineer for Simulation (f/m) to join our simulation department based in Marignane, France.

You will be part of a team developing modular simulation systems and simulators for all helicopter programs. With these systems, we deliver simulation capabilities for various internal and external customers .
As part of the system simulation team, you will be involved in the mission to deliver simulation systems for a given helicopter aiming at
·
Validation of new helicopter concepts, using simulations and simulators
·
Participation to the development of full flight simulators, cockpit procedure trainers and other simulation training devices
·
Support of helicopter embedded system and software tests, with simulation as an enabler or test environment
·
Many other applications in research and development
Your challenges:
·
Develop different system and sub-system simulations, according to the helicopter configurations and their evolutions
·
Integrate the global helicopter simulation and/or the helicopter simulator and assure simulation product maturity
·
Verification of global configuration match between system simulations and reference helicopters
·
Contribute to the exploitation of the potential of simulations, e.g. in different simulators and helicopter system test facilities
Your profile:
·
Engineering degree in aerospace engineering or similar
·
Experience in system integration and test
· Experience in software engineering, preferably on real time/embedded software. Software development (c/c++)
·
Knowledge of helicopter systems and architectures
·
Passion for helicopters, their functions and missions, and in particular interest for all that happens in the cockpit
·
Ability to work in a team with a highly international environment
·
Good communication skills, especially in English
