What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early October 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

A great opportunity has arisen in Airbus Customer Services to join Technical Data Spain in Customer Services.
This area is one main interfaces between Airbus and its customer, and the impact of its deliverables is one of the key areas for customer satisfaction. The increasing requirements from our customers and the complexity and pace of the evolution of our products, ensure that this position is both thrilling and key for the customer perception of Airbus.
Our goal is to provide customers with manuals that will enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations all along its life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations.
In this position, the internship will bring support mainly to Tech Data organization and occasionally to Service Bulletins, Ground Support Equipment or Scheduled Maintenance organizations.
Technical Data is in charge of the second main deliverable when an A/C is delivered to a customer: its maintenance documentation.
Our goal is to provide customers (Airlines, MRO, Aircraft Lessors) with manuals (such as Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Troubleshooting Manual or Illustrated Parts Catalog) that will enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations all along its life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations. And provide in service support to our customers with any comment, question or need they may have related to the maintenance tasks described in the manuals.
These manuals must be constantly updated with all the changes defined by the Design Office or by our Suppliers with whom we work closely to achieve our goals.
Technical Data is a department that offers a broad overview of Aircraft Systems and Airframe for all Airbus Commercial Aircraft: A320, A330, A350 and A380.
We are part of a transnational organization that has teams in Germany, France, UK and Spain, working as mirrors of the local engineering teams in charge of all Aircraft Systems and Airframe.
In this position, the internship will bring support, among others, for the following activities:
A. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT, DATA ANALYSIS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
·
Support performance management, generate and maintain an efficient dashboard and reporting system (performance dashboards, SQCDP, digital and visual management).
·
Execute specific operational analysis (trends, statistics, root cause analysis).
·
Identify possible improvements and automations for data analysis, visualization and reporting using the existing technologies.
·
Contribute to the team competences management and follow-up of training campaigns.
·
Support the preparation and follow-up of the budget forecast for the team activities and subcontracted deliverables.
·
Provide support to transformation projects to improve performance, AOS deployment and maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
·
Support to prepare tactical implementation plans for improvement initiatives follow-up
·
Provide support to transnational and transorganizational projects and initiatives to improve our products and our processes.
·
Identify and implement potential collaboration and synergies within the different Technical Data departments for the transnational standardization of ways of working.
B. TECHNICAL/AUTHORING ACTIVITIES: AUTHOR, VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION
·
Support the Technical Data Engineers with authoring, validation and verification activities in the creation and update of tasks in the manuals.
·
Collaborate in the management and coordination of Tech Data authoring activities. Delivery of products content (creation and updating) in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, configuration management rules and quality standards.
·
Provide support to identify possible issues in the documentation before they have an impact for our customers. Definition of improvement proposals to increase the level of quality and to make the Tech Data process more efficient.
C. SUBCONTRACTING ACTIVITIES MANAGEMENT
·
Collaborate in the management and monitoring of subcontractors giving them support in the activities of authoring.
·
Analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate subcontractors performance.
D. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP & SUPPORT
·
Provide support to the management and answer to customer questions providing efficient and continuous support to the customer to improve customer satisfaction and detect any potential safety impact.
·
Analyze customer feedback received from Technical Resquests and their satisfaction surveys to identify potential improvements in our manuals

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·
English knowledge (at least equivalent reference European frame B2 level).
·
Spanish knowledge (at least equivalent reference European frame B1 level).
·
General knowledge of the aircraft and its systems.
·
Passion for Aircraft, maintenance, engineering and manuals.
·
Self-motivated and with high proactivity, team spirit and collaboration skills.
·
Open-minded mindset for change and continuous improvement.
·
Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
·
High learning capability, including self-study.
·
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
·

For this position, the following skills are considered as a plus:

Detailed knowledge of the aircraft and its systems.

Knowledge of Google Suite tools, Skywise and other digitalization initiatives.
·
Artificial Intelligence, programming and small apps development.
·
Knowledge of project management and improvement methodologies.
