Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Data Governance Manager (f/m) to join our Public Safety and Security Entity based in Elancourt, France .
Public Safety and Security (PSS) develops, markets, delivers and maintains secure communication solutions.
You will be part of the Transformation Office department supporting the business transformation with digital capabilities, improves company performance and drives culture transformation.
As part of the team, you will play a key role in the leveraging the value of data, creating a strong sense of responsibility toward data accessibility and data quality, building & spreading trust in our data, facilitating both the access to critical information and the search for new information.

Your challenges:
· Implement data governance framework for PSS business unit according to the directives and methods defined at group level
· Represent PSS in Airbus data governance network and educate the PSS data community
· Work cross-functionally and transnationally to deploy data governance methods and network
· Lead data-related activities planned in the 3-year data roadmap
· Foster a data-driven approach in the company
· Identify use cases for data analytics to support business growth or operational efficiency
· Work with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive effective data management standards and policies
Your profile:
· Engineering degree or equivalent
· Experience in computer science, telecom engineering or related field
· Experience in data modelling, cartography, data quality and data protection
· Experience in enterprise data governance concepts and analytics principles
· Digital transformation & new ways of working
· Cross-functional & multicultural project management experience
· Good understanding of enterprise business functions and ability to counsel technical and functional concepts
· Service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on operational efficiency
· Ability to learn and continuously adapt
· Fluent in English and French
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
