Description of the job

What does your new challenge look like?

We as aircraft on ground (AOG) Desk are a great team sitting in Hamburg Fuhlsbuettel. Our main challenge is to provide our airline customer with support for AOG material requirements in a fast paced environment at 24 hours, seven days per week. As Customer Order Specialist (f/m) you will be the Interface to customer and internal stakeholders in several levels of their organizations and provide them with comprehensive solutions.

We as Satair are a 100% subsidiary of Airbus and as such we offer you an Airbus working contract.

Tasks & accountabilities

What we expect from you?

·  You are the interface between the customer and Airbus spare parts order process
·  You are responsible to complete customer order including receipt, sourcing, escalating and delivery.
·  You need to work on a high level of independence and requested to develop creative and fast solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
·  You are responsible for the management of order related communication between all involved parties as airlines, internal and external suppliers
·  Additionally, you are in charge of sourcing and buying parts from suppliers, which includes order follow up with worldwide suppliers
·  You need to be able to find solutions and take quick decisions to ensure on time delivery of materials needed to repair an aircraft. This requires close collaboration with the procurement and supply chain and global stores to source urgently needed parts.
·  Additionally, you will be in close contact with the engineering department using technical documentation to search for alternate solutions and provide best possible service to our customers. Furthermore, you provide updates and information to our customer worldwide concerning all spare parts relates queries.
·  You are the first level support during out of office hours for different departments as lease, Repair and Kit
·  You are in charge to communicate with customers in difficult situations
·  You provide customer with a warm and caring customer service experience

Required skills

What do you offer?

·  You have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
·  You are experienced in customer service and/or material management combined with strong technical understanding
·  Ideally you offer advanced SAP knowledge
·  Your way of working shows high level of autonomy, self-initiative and “can do” attitude while finding creative target-oriented solutions
·  Strong communication skills (verbally and written) with focus on our worldwide customer satisfaction
·  Willingness to work as part of a team in a rotating 3-shift pattern.
·  You are at negotiation level in English and at advanced level in Chinese, Indian and/ or Arabic
