Description of the job
A Craft Apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to acquire new skills whilst in employment. As an Aerostructures Craft Apprentice you will become a skilled aircraft fitter working on the drill off and assembly of both metallic and composite components to produce the wing box structure. You will spend your first year completing Level 2 Foundation course, learning about engineering operations, whilst achieving a number of technical certificates and company required qualifications and will lead to the achievement if an NVQ Extended Diploma (Aeronautical Engineering) Level 3 and a National Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering.

Required skills
To apply, you must have a minimum of 6 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English, Maths and Double Science.
Alternatively you must have 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English, Maths, Double Science and an Engineering BTEC.
