Job Description

A vacancy has arisen at Airbus Filton for the position of Configuration Management Process Architect. The successful candidate will join the EZCI Team of 20 people across 4 sites.

You have a highly innovative personality focused at delivering the right solution for some diverse and challenging Configuration Management requirements.

Are you willing to challenge the way we work and bring new and refreshing approaches to ensure the Configuration Management for legacy and new A/C program and match it with new technologies as 3D Experience or ARP? Do you love connecting people and collaborate with many different organisations? This job will give you the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams as Configuration Services Train, Central Configuration Program, Designers and Manufacturing Engineering. Priority will be given to employees whose position is impacted by a workforce adaptation initiative.

Tasks

The main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- You will ensure the Business Operational Support for Configuration Management especially around the configuration steering and the Product Structure elaboration in UK.

- You will ensure trainings on configuration principle on DPDS for Designers.

- You will modernise, digitise and revolutionise our UK product to be compatible with standard configuration as CI-LO-DS.

- You will be the focal point for the Configuration Services Train for all A-UK processes as Build Standard, PASS V1 to PASS V3 project.

- You will be the focal point in UK for Transfer of Applicable Design Data for Extended enterprise (A380 WPM, BASiC)

- You will be part of the investigation to ensure the SA Ramp-Up inside DDMS project (Digital Design Manufacturing and Services)

- You will bring your knowledge and experience in and help develop others

This role will require some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
