Job Objectives
Handle Rewards operations in Japan such as payroll processing and related Compensation & Benefits operations
Primary Responsibilities
· Ensure on time monthly payroll processing contribution for Japan entities
· Perform payroll quality check before final review by the Rewards Team Lead and to generate on time payroll related reports to Finance on a monthly basis
· Creation & update of new employees details in the HRIS system and uploading of relevant e-documents
· Support the Rewards Team Lead in reviewing the current operations processes (e.g. Payroll)
· Support payroll audit when required.
· Ensure on time annual Income Tax submission to the Financial Authority in Japan
· Support on job evaluation and job grading exercise
· Support the Rewards Team Lead in conducting annual salary benchmark exercise/survey with external consultancy firms
· Support the Rewards Team Lead in conducting annual salary review / variable bonus calculation/ letter merging for Japan entities
· Any ad hoc tasks and projects when necessary

Professional Skills
Essential:
· At least 3 years of working knowledge in Human Resource disciplines; previous experience in payroll operations is necessary.
· A good operational experience within fast pace and complex multinational environment
· A good understanding of the Accounting legislations
Desirable:
· Minimum Tertiary education and above in any discipline preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or Accounting.
· Prior experience with HR system will be preferred.
