Description of the job
Due to a growth within Airbus Space division a position has arisen for a competent Electrical/Mechanical Build Inspector within our Combined Propulsion Systems (CPS) class 8 cleanroom. The candidate will be required to carry out Passive electrical tests of free hand harnesses manufactured to Space Craft. Verify Mechanical Build status In Accordance with Design Drawings and Works Instruction. Report Non-conformances; perform Audits build status against Process and Procedures documents. The candidate will be required to travel overseas within Europe perform the listed duties.
Desired profile
Tasks & accountabilities
· Verify harness electrical integrity to schematic drawing in line with detailed assembly instruction
· Performing Inline resistance evaluation and Isolation testing
· Verifying mechanical assembly In accordance with Drawing requirements
· Able use basic Hand measurement tools such as Vernier & Micrometre
· Audit assembly instruction against build status
· Record and report on none conformances
· Travel overseas within Europe.

Required skills
Top 3 tech/experience skills
· 3 years' Electrical/Mechanical inspection experience with the Aerospace /related industries.
· PC literate Word & Excl
· Recognised time served Apprenticeship or equivalent

· Fluent in in English spoken and written
· Report writing skills
· Use of hand measurement tools from DMM to Vernier
