Aircraft Layout Manager for Technical Changes (d/f/m)
Do you enjoy cross-functional collaboration to ensure that at the end all dots are connected for a successful delivery to the customer? Then, join us in the Technical Change Management department of Airbus Commercial in Hamburg as Aircraft Layout Manager for Technical Changes (d/f/m).
In this position, you will be responsible for managing all Aircraft related changes (named as Modifications) through the Aircraft development process for all running Airbus commercial programs like the A320 Family, A330 and A350 XWB programmes. This includes customer-related changes as well as changes related to Aircraft product and lifecycle improvement development. To enable a successful qualification and certification of the first/new aircraft version of a customer, you will be in contact with all functions driving the development process. From customer offer management via the engineering design offices towards the final certification supported by authorities. This position is a key function in aircraft development to secure the delivery of our products towards our customer.
Your location
The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you can travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture.

Your tasks and responsibilities
·
You will manage and control the Cabin Layout Change Modification Documentation.
·
You will prepare all necessary documentation for the change control and support involved functions.
·
You will act as Modification Coordinator to secure the ontime closure of all related Modifications.
Desired skills and qualifications
·
You hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
·
You bring at least 1-3 years of experience in Configuration Management.
·
Ideally, you also have experience in Aerospace Design, technical knowledge in accordance with the overall Aircraft and Cabin Systems and a good understanding of the Airbus Modification System.
·
You have Project Management skills and have proven to work in a solution-oriented way with active time management.
·
You enjoy working with a focus on details, yet being able to zoom out and see the big picture.
·
You are an open minded teamplayer with a motivation for continuous exchange and new ideas.
·
You are able to develop and implement effective relationships with different stakeholders and manage the customer expectations.
·
You are able to communicate in English and German; French would be a plus.
