The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator will pave the way to smart automations capabilities by integration of new innovative bricks including computer vision and data fusion. The goal is to help the pilot and facilitate the mission. 

The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator team is looking for a V&V and Testing leader to take part in the development of our new systems and assess it through the multiple test campaigns.

This position comes with a CDI-C contract for 2 years (end in September 2026), in accordance with the timeline of the demonstrator.

Main missions:

We are searching for a System V&V and Testing leader who will be responsible for the end to end verification and testing of the demonstrator systems, with the main responsibilities as below:

· 
Lead the development of a mature and optimized end to end simulation (up to flight test) and test strategy 

· 
Deliver the smartest ground test and flight test strategy and plan with regular updates according to environment changes, and compatible with time constraints

· 
Coordinate with the teams the delivery of ground test procedures and test requests (LTR/FTR)

· 
Ensure the aircraft is in the right configuration for the tests

· 
Identify and deliver the definition of all integration platforms

· 
Coordinate with the teams to deliver the ground tests & the flight tests and results analysis

· 
Ensure data collection as per stakeholders requirements

· 
Provide V&V documentation linked to ground and flight tests (V&V plan, V&V summary,..)

· 
Coordinate with Design Offices and Test Center regarding V&V objectives / achievements / deviations until project completion

What you bring

· 
Aeronautical engineer by graduate schools or universities

· 
Significant experience in Systems V&V and testing

· 
Good knowledge of aircraft systems

· 
Good knowledge of Airbus Test Environment (Integration simulator) is very good asset

· 
Able to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working

· 
Negotiation level in English is required with excellent overall communication skills

· 
Passionate about exploring new areas, working on equations and quickly implementing innovative ideas and concepts.

· 
Critical thinker that takes on big challenges to create innovative solutions. You are an enterprising person, flexible and capable of fast adapting to changing environments.

· 
Able to self-manage and yet be a team-player.

·
