Trainee Asbestos Analyst (Full Training Provided)

AEC South has a fantastic opportunity to join our established team as a Trainee Asbestos Analyst, based in Essex.

Job Purpose :
As an Asbestos Analyst, the role shall include airborne fibre monitoring and analysis in a range of industrial, commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities include:-
• Working as a team with other members of the AEC Team.
• Liaising and building rapport with clients/contractors.
• Ensure site work on tablet is completed correctly and to a high quality.
• Develop a professional approach when representing AEC on site.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
• Work with Microsoft office programs e.g. word & excel to create reports for works carried out.

Competencies/Person Specification:
Our ideal candidate can work well under pressure and be flexible. They would also be physically fit able to carry and climb ladders, toolboxes and other site equipment.
In addition possess a professional attitude towards work, be punctual, and take a pride in their personal appearance. Adherence to relevant health & safety procedures is a must.

You should also be computer literate.

Must have a full clean driving licence.

As part of your training you will sit the P403 & P404 course in order to qualify an Asbestos Analyst.
