PR Internship - Entertainment Publicity

Job description

Thriving independent PR company specialising in entertainment publicity is looking for a Public Relations Intern to work across a variety of film, TV and home entertainment products, across digital, print and broadcast platforms, in our small but very busy office. 

The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic and enthusiastic, with a keen interest in public relations and a good knowledge of and interest in film and television.

This will be part time or full time with a view to a permanent position.
Experience will be gained in:

Creative campaign ideas
Press release writing
Campaign reporting
Liaising with media outlets
Liaising with clients 
Press monitoring
Talent management 
Social media management

Desired profile

Ideally educated to A level
Ideally some office experience
Strong communication in both telephone and email
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes particularly excel 
Social Media experience helpful
