Are you a creative video editor who has the ability to produce highly watchable videos? Do you enjoy the filming and good camera work?

If yes, we have just the internship for you - a real hands-on opportunity to create and produce videos for an award-winning web publication.

You must be a creative person and passionate about producing quality videos which will reflect your flair as a unique editor. All your work will be fully credited to you for your portfolio.

You will be given training and support to meet our expected standards.

For this role will be doing the following:

* Editing and producing the videos including celebrity interviews, sports events, viral-style videos and business promo videos for YouTube channels.

* Going on filming assignments for subsequent edits.

* Editing weekly shows or productions for the magazine.

* Working on your own whilst showing excellent skills to follow editing work plans/instructions.

The role is based in Birmingham.

You will be required to own a laptop/MAC and video software for this role.

You will be required to be in the office for a min. 3 days per week to ensure you get the experience of working in a team.

* IMPORTANT *

For your application, please provide between 3-5 URL links of your best and varied work on YouTube, Vimeo, a website etc.

Desired profile

- Excellent Editing skills with software knowledge

- Good Camera, filming and audio recording skills

- You need to be a team player and creative individual

- Good planning and time-management and communication skills.

- Availability to produce edits in agreed timescales - the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Familiarity with YouTube required.

- Have an open-minded attitude for this role to learn and develop your skills to meet our standards.

- Understanding of British Asian or South Asian lifestyle is desirable and a bonus, but not essential.
