New Product Development Internship (Health food)

Job description

We are a very young Shoreditch based startup in that aims at creating a trendy health food brand in the fast growing healthy convenience food sector and launched already first products. In the next months we want to launch further products, adapt existing ones for additional sales channels as well as create entirely new ones from scratch.
In this very exciting time we are looking to get support for our product development efforts.

Length of the internship is three months and starting as soon as possible. Longer or shorter periods can be discussed if it is the right candidate.

Your responsibilities:

Be part of a team that is creating a young and trendy health food brand
Be a vital part in managing, meeting and searching producers and supplier
Help in creating the technical specifications, recipes, right claims, product compositions and all technical aspects of products
Help in creating the identity of the products and the brand
Learn how to get products from the idea to the shelf
Liaising with existing suppliers and customers
Help with every day’s tasks that come up in a startup

Desired profile

Passion for the food industry, ideally with an interest in health food or low-carb food
Experience in the food industry very much preferred
A self-driven and motivated person that can manage small tasks and work streams alone
Knowledge of or strong interest in nutritional science clearly preferred
