Purpose

Support the product creation and execution against the defined global strategy and direction given by Management for all apparel product ranges of all assigned and future Designer - Style Collaborations working closely with the cross functional teams.

Manage the process for all aspects related to Product Creation, developing the product brief and aligning the initial design direction all the way through to product ex-factory in order to deliver commercial, efficiency and image objectives.

Key Accountabilities

·  Manage and take care of the range planning and product creation process for apparel effectively from seasonal kick off, developing clear briefs, managing prototyping process and lead into production working closely with C2C, Design, Material Management, Operations and factories to ensure relevant products, meaningful price structure, premium quality, correct retail launch dates and margin targets.
·  Drive the product process to deliver relevant products, new material and design innovation while meeting margin/profitability objectives.
·  Utilize relevant market research, data, competitive landscape to provide clear briefs on allocated projects/products that give clear information and direction to the Design, Brand Marketing, DTC and Operations.
·  Deliver against a dynamic calendar, making sure that all product creation milestones are achieved, consistently ensuring product relevance.

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

·  Experience in Apparel Marketing, Development and Sourcing are necessity 
·  Very good textile product knowledge
·  Strong business acumen in channel distribution, net sales, margin, profit
·  Very good understanding of Fashion / Style world in context of Sportswear Industry requirements.
·  Effective presentation skills and a passion to present to groups, including members of all organizational levels
·  Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Qualifications

·  Four year college or university degree, preferably in Marketing/Business
·  Minimum three (3) years related experience
·  Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
