Purpose

Manage scope, plan and delivery of small supply chain projects (< € 500k), significant process/ organisation/ system enhancements or sub-elements of mid-scale projects on a local or global level across brands and respective functions within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on the customers’ expectations and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

· Responsible for delivering projects for related function within agreed scope, cost and schedule
· Project management tasks include:
· Creation of project concept design (includes detailed understanding of the supply chain and ability to run business process design workshops)
· Definition of project scope, schedule and cost overview
· Contribute to business case creation
· Creation and tracking of progress vs. plan using appropriate tools and timely communication of progress to stakeholders
· Assembling and coordinating project team
· Effectively managing stakeholder groups to realize project deliverables. E.g. Consensus building, timely critical issue resolution, etc.
· Definition and execution of change management activities
· Project closure/successfully handing over project deliverables to operational teams
· Establish and own a point of view on key topics

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

· Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals/objectives
· Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies (preferably PMI certified)
· Ability to manage and participate in complex global and local projects as assigned
· Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
· Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal)
· Ability to lead and facilitate discussions in small and large groups
· Ability to influence others to build consensus with internal and external partners
· Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes
· Good understanding of demand models, production forecasting, purchasing practices, terminology, basic finance and supply chain principles (preferably APICS certified)
· Advanced MS Office skills and ability to learn and use internal databases
· Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access with a working knowledge of ERP systems a preference
· Fluent in English

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university
· Minimum 4-5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations or planning, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel or Footwear industries
· Alternatively, 2+ years of strategy consulting with project experience
· Proven experience in project management of medium/large scale cross functional projects incl. PMI Certification
