Purpose:  Supports Senior Manager Human Resources in providing professional level HR support to the business in the areas of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, immigration and compensation.  Partners with the business to ensure HR programs are implemented and supported thoughtfully and in accordance with adidas policy under the guidance of the Senior Manager Human Resources.   Assists with analyzing business and human resources needs and implementing effective solutions.  Provide support for a variety of Human Resource functions including recruiting, training and development, projects and events.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure HR initiatives, programs, and policies are fully understood and implemented thoughtfully and consistently within the Spartanburg campus.
· Act as a consultant and first point of contact for HR services including, but not limited to the following:  Staffing, compensation, benefits, diversity, employee relations, employee training and development, and organizational development.  Specific activities may involve assisting managers in maintaining accurate job descriptions, addressing company policy questions, processing FMLA/Leave of Absence requests, assisting in resolving grievances.
· Manage HRIS system (SAP) to include maintaining and updating all employee information/data in SAP and employee files to ensure applicable state and/or federal laws are met.
· Manage and maintain organizational structures in SAP (reporting structures, job titles and catalogue, job grades, etc.) and ensure highest data quality in the system.
· Prepare and create standard reports as well as update personnel records to ensure smooth processes for the annual SCORE and salary round as well as other statistics and reports.
· Build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with managers.  Assess a variety of situations.  Assist Senior Manager Human Resources by providing necessary support in problem resolutions relating to performance management, corrective action, and employee relations issues.  When necessary, determine the appropriate HR contact for more specific information and further assistance.
· Support talent identification and provide full cycle recruitment for assigned LOB including ad placement, resume screening, phone screens, interviewing, reference check and offer generation.  Ensure all interviewing/hiring practices are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, immigration, and company policy.
· Manage Spartanburg communication tools including the development and maintenance of the site specific communications portal (aLive, Blog, Bulletin Boards, etc.).  Work closely with Internal Communications to align in NAM and/or Globally.  Responsible for approving and distributing campus communications (all methods).  Create, prepare and distribute communications as requested and assigned by Senior Manager Human Resources.
· Manage Community Relations and Campus Events/Activities.  Act as first point of contact for charitable organizations, requests for charitable giving/donations and/or sponsorships.  Process all requests by obtaining the necessary approvals and respond accordingly in a timely manner.  Work closely with the community to enhance our visibility and partner with organizations on community involvement initiatives.  Responsible for coordinating all events/activities for the campus to include but not limited to annual functions/festivities, fundraisers, etc.
· Provide general administrative support to HR Department to include duties such as filing, sorting mail, coding invoices, and ordering supplies as well as distribution and tracking of material including Service Awards.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

· Communicates effectively in English, both orally and in writing, in one-on-one situations and in small and large group presentations; can facilitate group and team meetings.

· Knowledgeable of relevant HR legislation and local, state and federal employment law
· Understand payroll systems and database concepts (SAP); SAP knowledge a plus
· Ability to enter accurate data in an efficient manner
· Possesses computer skills and competency in software applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

· Four year college or university degree from an accredited institution, preferably with emphasis in Human Resources or Psychology
· Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training.
· Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
· HRIS experience, SAP a plus
· Advanced level computer skills (Excel and Power Point) preferred
