Software Engineer to ensure high quality of software development for business and integration applications and support the creation / modification and roll-out of development guidelines, tools and processes across global IT.  Duties include:

· Optimize / Reduce the amount of rework to improve total cost of development, through standardization, re-usability and first time quality
· Break down solution design into manageable technical work packages for development by external partner or development team
· Develop technical specifications for development work to be outsourced to an external partner
· Provide technical expertise to external partners on software development best practices and desired coding standards
· Perform code review to establish conformance to standards and desired quality levels
· When necessary, perform coding and development to fulfill project goals
· Balance project demands with resource availability, ensuring timeliness, quality and cost efficiency of software development projects
· Track and monitor technical work package development costs, and related external effort
· Regularly update management throughout the software development life cycle and coordinate with other departments to deliver a seamless software delivery experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, plus 6 years of hands-on experience in software development for business solutions.  Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include:

· 5 years in software development for web-based applications using Java, Oracle
· 5 years working with Product Based Technologies including Windchill/FLEX PLM

Systems

· 3 years’ working experience in Matrix
· 1 year experience with PDMLink, JSP, XML and XSL
· Experience working with Lifecyles and Workflows
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
