Purpose :

Responsible for wholesale Fulfillment Planning and Inventory Management for the adidas Group’s NAM Distribution Centers/Plants. Drive continuous process improvements for DC and Inventory Management topics within Operations. This position will enable capacity planning at all NAM DCs to fulfill the demand for the NAM Market to secure on time delivery to Wholesale customers. The Senior Manager will analyze and identify short- and long-term constraints in all DCs and drive measures to counteract. Furthermore, this position will ensure correct stock levels in SAP AFS across all DCs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, coach and develop a team of Fulfillment Planning (Fulfillment Planner) ensuring development or performance improvement plans are established were required
· Work with the Order Fulfillment Senior Manager to develop the medium and long term strategic direction for NAM Fulfillment Planning and lead the team to execute strategy/initiatives
· Work cross functionally across the supply chain to achieve on time in full delivery
· Create medium-term (0-11 month) omni-channel Fulfillment Plan for each of the DCs
· Represent Wholesale in monthly capacity planning meetings with the DCs Management teams and ensure capacity (static and dynamic) to fulfill Wholesale demand (balancing service and cost). Create an aligned strategy
· Lead the monthly Fulfillment Planning Review meeting with senior SCM directors with the aim to sign-off the strategy
· Track and report DN coverage, shipping and production (packing) progress towards the plan during the month. Take timely corrective actions i.e. drive DN release, revise volume plan, align actions with DCs to adjust capacity
· Coordinate DC and market activities to ensure achievement of service levels especially during the peak months at the start of each season, especially related to prepack campaigns
· Ensure that market complaints/issues are resolved following a coordinated and solution based model
· Ensure Customer Fulfillment Customer Service teams are suitably informed of DC performance to support stakeholder relationship management
· Management of stock moves/transfers/blocks to maintain optimal level of stock availability and enable effective order management and inventory clearance activities
· Coordinate SAP inventory and wholesale sales order management activities related to issues involving quality, legal, product recall, etc.
· Drive order fulfillment process and systems improvements; support User Acceptance Tests.
· Develop appropriate reporting and KPIs to support and measure achievement of order fulfillment objectives and targets

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Higher education, university degree or equivalent
· 5-8 years working experience in Logistics, constraint-based Planning/Forecasting, Commercial functions, Finance or IT
· 3-5 years in a management position
· Strong skills in ERP (SAP)/WMS systems & Microsoft Office Suite
· Footwear / Apparel experience preferred
