Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Drive and maintain a highly qualified business partner approach for CHRO and HR management in all individual labor law topics as well as digitalization of world of employment and tariff matters together with your Legal HR team. Build up and maintain constructive relationship for Global Procurement in external matters to the benefit of the company and its employees. This includes ensuring a coordinated and structured approach towards Human Resources and Global Procurement in fulfilling our legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for providing all legal services at adidas AG.
· Take the Lead of Legal HR and ensure high quality and speed driven legal support towards Human Resources and Procurement.
· Drive digitalization of world of employment at adidas AG.
· Support Senior Director Legal & Compliance in tariff matters.
· Build up and maintain constructive relationship for Global Procurement in external matters of adidas AG
· Prepare and make recommendations for management to use during tariff negotiations.
· Advices and works with HR Rewards, HRM and line managers to ensure compliance with tariff agreements.
· Consult and align priorities in close collaboration with HR Rewards, HRM, Line Manager and Executive Management to get input into aspects of personnel policy and tariff agreements.
· Support the Senior Director Legal & Compliance/ maintaining a high level of communication with HR Management and advice and them on legal changes to promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
· Support the HRM and CoEs on the following subjects

· intended tariff agreements
· planning on new buildings and reconstructions
· planning of technical assets
· planning on working methods and flow of work
· planning on work places
· planning on major organizational changes

· Oversee and drive the HR policies stated in the Group Policy Manual.
· Coordinate and act as subject matter expert in all individual labour law cases.
· Provide analysis and solutions, manage activities and set guidelines concerning labor law and tariff matters.
· Provide strategic legal advice to Group HR in line with current legislation and needs of the business on a global level.
· Full legal remit in relation to all Labor,Employee and Tariff Relation topics.
· Train managers inside adidas with regards to German Tariff Law, HR labor laws and co-determination rights.
· External Workforce Management; Creation and legal review of contracts Freelancer in line with current legislation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Must have the ability to interact at the highest levels of the company
· An acute sense of business management and administration
· A strong and dedicated understanding towards adidas and customers’ needs
· MS-Office skills, SAP experience is a plus
· Experience in managing complex mid to large size projects within HR
· Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills to all employees including senior management.
· At least 3 years of people management experience.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Law degree (Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen)
· At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in labor law, tariff law or labor relations counseling
· Experience handling complicated employee relations issues including union matters drives/organizing attempts, discrimination claims, sexual harassment investigations and downsizing.
