Purpose: The Run Support Associate is focused on supporting our Operator 1’s efforts to run efficiently. This will include inspecting, helping with set-ups/tear-downs, and unloading. This associate will move to wherever the help is needed.
• INSPECTING SUPPORT:
· Verify grid information to ensure we have the correct goods to produce as well as the correct screens from Indirect. Ensuring we have both proper goods and screens will help us avoid rejects. This includes confirming the correct branding of the product (adidas vs. Reebok)
· Work with Team Leads/Quality to ensure quality checklists have been filled out correctly and to ensure the first garment ran meets the garment/screenprint quality requirements of SLD. .
· Throughout the run the Inspector is to keep accurate counts of the garments coming out of the dryer to ensure we maintain our customer fill rate. These counts can also affect when we order make-ups. In instances the run is produced short the Inspector must look at the make-up decision tree to determine if a make-up is required.
· Throughout the run the Inspector is to look for any quality defects such as screen pinholes, garment bleeding, registration being off, graphics being off center, graphic placement, etc. If a quality defect is discovered, the Inspector is to stop the press.
· The Inspector is responsible for the accurate recording of production logs to ensure press Operators are given proper credit for set-ups, garments produced, and reject rates.
· Inspectors may also be called upon to assist with touch ups and clean-up of garments. During any downtime they should be stacking garments for upcoming orders.
• OPERATING SUPPORT :
• Assist the operator one during the setup/teardown and running of product off the machine following all safety practices in manufacturing.
• Communicate with Operator one and inspector on any quality or press issues that come up during the production while loading or unloading garments from the press.
• Scrape all used squeegees and flood bars and keep the ink buckets cleanKeep your work environment neat and clean daily.
• Communicate any quality issues with the Operator 1 during the unloading process while placing them on the dryer.
• Follow all setup and run processes with the screenprint dept.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED
