Under limited supervision, and with self-initiative, perform standard administrative assignments involved in support of adidas Golf / Ashworth sales team. This position reports directly to the Director of Field Sales, and will also support the Regional Sales Managers in remote / off-campus locations.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
· Provides general administrative support to Department leadership team and/or department staff.
· Coordinates multiple projects and timelines for meetings including sales meetings, trade shows and pre-lines
· Creates and maintains PowerPoint presentations for meetings
· Partners with cross functional teams (i.e. HR, Credit, Finance, Legal, Oracle) to ensure compliance and accuracy of information
· Coordinates sample return process for each season
· Assists merchandising and sales teams during events
· Manages calendars for various sales events and works with vendors to secure locations, catering and pricing.
· Coordinates with internal and external customers to arrange travel and accommodations
· Acts as the liaison between Sales reps, Operations and Merchandise team
· Prepares and maintains a variety of reports and manuals; review reports and other print material for accuracy.
· Responsible for tracking sales contests and communicating with sales reps
· Administers the Golf Retirement Plus program.
· Maintains and order department supply inventory.
· Maintains distribution and contact lists for sales reps and vendors.
· Performs other responsibilities as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
· College degree or certificate preferred, High School or equivalent education required.
· 3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Department Coordinator.
· Customer Service experience preferred.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
· Fluent in English; good communication skills, written and oral.
· Proficient computer skills required including knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Internet.
· Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
· Ability to establish, organize and maintain filing and record keeping systems.
· Able to work independently and to complete assignments with limited instruction.
· Able to perform a variety of tasks with changing priorities/assignments on short notice.
