Coordinator, Retail Marketing (Reebok)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

You will play a critical role in supporting the Reebok Pacific business to deliver our Pacific brand objectives in 2018 and beyond. You will ensure the successful rollout of all Brand Campaign strategies in the Pacific region across Brand and Category, ensuring flawless trade/retail marketing execution within our Direct-To-Consumer eventsand wholesale channels.

Specifically, you will ensure the positive development of the Reebok brand image, ensure a sustainable and profitable business through adequate retail and trade marketing planning and execution at the POS. You will need to balance brand and category message against trade specific requirements and ensure brand presence and sell-through at POS through retail and trade marketing specific plans in line with Reebok Brand Marketing objectives.

Who we are looking for:

You would have 1-2 years of experience in retail marketing within a large retailer environment. Leveraging off your knowledge of trade marketing, you will engage effectively with internal stakeholders like Sales and Brand Activation, as well as key wholesale customers. You should be comfortable with managing multiple streams of tasks to ensure timely completion of planned tasks, but at the same time be able to reprioritise schedules whenever the need arises. You should ideally also have exposure to Visual Merchandising, but the expectations are more to provide input to the agencies who create the VM guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Brand Communications Manager with the development and implementation of the channel specific brand calendar, including campaigns across Reebok Performance and Classics.
· Execute end to end campaign rollout across trade channels, incorporating Pacific and regional Hub requirements
· Drive detailed campaign briefs, timelines, budgets and manage execution and delivery for all trade channels.
· Coordinate and manage the planning and implementation of all activity within the assigned wholesale retail partners including elements of point of sale, VM, events, promotions, staff engagement and other marketing initiatives.
· Work in alignment with the team (merchandising, digital, sales, and sports marketing) to execute the brand vision across all trade marketing partners in Australia and New Zealand.
· Provide input before, during, and after campaign deployment to ensure alignment with SEAPAC, brand, retail, and category teams, as well as providing reporting documentation required.
· Manage the systematic graphic and in-store communication process for all retail outlets as well as Reebok showrooms and offices.
· Work closely with Market sub-unit VM-RSM teams to ensure consistent execution of retail space projects, creating a Market culture of excitement, and desire to win at the point of sale through optimal VM-RSM execution including managing collaborative relationships with third parties (e.g. shop suppliers and construction companies).
· Leverage assigned agencies to develop space and account-specific visual merchandising guidelines and provide direction to all Visual Merchandisers in Market sub-units in order to drive consistency in execution across the entire Market. Work within the retail marketing working budget, including the administrative tasks required to raise POs, track and document the budget.
· Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies, on all retail marketing initiatives ensuring cost efficiencies.
· Assist the Manager, Brand Communications as required for events, projects and activities. This may involve travel to event venues outside normal hours and weekends where necessary.

· ROI/Net Sales of supported Categories.
· Brand presentation at Own Retail and Wholesale
· Sell-through of key campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Marketing and sales knowledge/experience across sport and fashion/lifestyle.
· Solution-oriented person who understands to balance brand equity/ building a brand and commercial relevance/interest of channels.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· 2 years of experience in trade, retail marketing or sales.
· Marketing degree or related qualification
· Fluent in English (writing and verbal).
· Excellent presentation skills.
· Ability to draw upon centralized resources and put together trade packs on PowerPoint
· IT Skills: Outlook, Excel and Word: Basic; PowerPoint: advanced.
