Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Develop an in-store connection between the local streetwear audience / trendsetters and the brand through an engaging consumer retail experience. Through best in class retail activation & marketing initiatives this role will be pivotal in driving the vision & future of the adidas Originals brand.

Key Responsibilities:

    Activate the Flagship Store

• Activate the flagship store with the local streetwear hounds and trend setters as the pioneering streetwear brand through a close collaboration with the HQ Originals, Brand adidas and Retail teams

• Bring tolife the product and brand stories in each season through window execution, visual merchandising, in-store communication and events timely and within budget

• Create content relevant to the Originals brand and the flagship store to engage and inspire the flagship staff, consumers and community on the Originals brand.

• Be a knowledge expert on both the streetwear scene and the Originals brand (past, present and future) and develop methods to share this knowledge with the flagship store staff.

    Connect to the Streetwear Hound Scene

• Connect and be part of the streetwear hound scene with a strong knowledge of influencers, streetwear hounds and trends within Korea.

• Network with local shops and establish relationships with key consumers and influencers

• Organize and host events both in-and out-of store to engage and inspire streetwear hounds and local communities

Key Relationships:

Global Brand Marketing to execute the seasonal flagship store activation program, and to post and maintain tumblr content.

Local Brand
adidas Omnichannel Marketing for support in delivering the flagship store marketing and activation initiatives.

Local Brand adidas Original BU for connecting to the locally relevant streetwear and fashion influencers.

Consumer Direct Team includes Brand Flagship Store Manager, other flagship store staff and District Managers for developing in-store connection between the consumer and the brand

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Storyteller – an eye for capturing content in an Originals way.

Strong communication with key stakeholders Good copywriter using the target consumer’s tone of voice.

• Social influencer and early adopter / native of social media.

• Part of the city´s streetwear culture.

• Connected with a large and relevant contact book of influencers.

• Knowledge expert about the street wear scene, adidas Originals brand and the respective flagship city.

• Passion for the Originals brand and enthusiasm/energy for activation.

• Creative and innovative complemented with organizational and project management skills.

• Fluent in local language and proficient English.

• Knowledgeable in MS Office.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in marketing and sales or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum 3 years of retail and/or retail marketing experience.

• In-store retail experience is a plus.

• Experience of relevant PR / marketing / events is an advantage.
