Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

· To provide patent administrative support (including design patents) for all brands serviced by the Global Legal Innovation team on a world-wide basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handling the complete patent administration (communication with external lawyers, observing deadlines, sending reminders, etc.)
· Handling the complete design administration (communication with external lawyers, observing deadlines, sending reminders, etc.)
· Monitoring & payment of all annuity fees for patent and design registration portfolio including the preparation of a final decision overview for cases to be abandoned (be the liaison person for external service provider such as CPA)
· Special Projects (including for example the transfer of patent portfolios, supporting the integration of newly acquired patent portfolios, supporting document discovery in patent litigation, etc.)
· Maintain and update department files, records, etc. (incl. Database PATRICIA)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Commercial apprenticeship, ideally “Patentanwaltsfachangestellte/Patentanwaltsfachangestellter”
· First experience with Legal / IP (at least 1 - 2 years)
· Fluency in English and ideally German
· IT Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
