Brand Communications

A strong brand is at the heart of every successful business. Be part of the adidas Brand Communications team and inspire and engage our audience. A brand is much more than a logo. Effective Brands achieve maximum impact when all channels are highly integrated. Our communication channels are diversified across a range of offline and online media and our team have touchpoint across all channels.

Brand communication occurs every time a consumer interacts with our brand across various channels:

· when customers see our brand (advertising)
· view our products.
· view brand content (social media, advertising, reviews)
· meet our brand in person (consumer activations, Direct to consumer)
· meet assets representing our Brand (sports marketing)
· Join and experience the creative, consumer centric team in taking the adidas Brand to market.

Department Specific Responsibilities:

· Support in the planning, co-ordination and activation of key brand campaigns in London
· Support administration of strategic planning
· Assist cross functional relationships during key concept activation
· Build and align brand and category activation calendars across all marketing channels
· Document and follow up category action points
· Provide overall support for the wider communication team
· Support the team in the provision of necessary communication material in internal/sell-in environments
· Understanding of London consumer, category and media environment
· Support in reporting and review activities

Wholesale Activation

This team is responsible for landing the adidas brand with impact across key retailers in the UK and Ireland. The team will bring to life our key ‘stories’ (both Sport and Style) at every touchpoint of the consumer journey , whether that be in store/ staff engagement/ digital or via events ensuring we excite and engage the consumer. When gaining experience on the Wholesale marketing team you are exposed to many opportunities to develop in other areas of the adidas business.

Department Specific Responsibilities:

· To support delivery of the wholesale marketing plans with identified wholesale partners, to uplift the brand image and drive rate of sales objectives and relevant KPIs which are -
· Share of space
· Share of staff
· Share of voice
· Support the process of delivering all ISC requirements by category & account
· To Support the execution of the Wholesale Marketing Plan for relevant national accounts and to ensure category consistency.
· To support the planning, co-ordination and implementation of all in-store product training activity for targeted stores.
· To support all in store event and promotional activity as agreed within the Trade Marketing Plan
· To measure the success of all campaigns in order to identify the successful marketing tools and ensure KPI’s were met

Brand Activation– JD

Department Specific Responsibilities:

· To support the building of the Account Marketing plans for JD with the on-going alignment between marketing and sales
· Identification of team-specific critical path incorporating all activities required to deliver, monitor and review the impact of the plans
· Communicate with external agencies when required to ensure that the status of projects is updated and delivered on time.
· To measure and report all trade marketing activity by category as requested in relevant format.
· To support the development (in conjunction with the manager brand activation and sales manager) of tailored account plans by category, to uplift the brand image and drive rate of sales objectives and relevant KPIs with a primary focus on Originals and Women’s
· To support the manager brand activation to deliver to the sales account manager a summary of all brand activation plans and local activation plan calendars.
· To execute all in-store visual marketing activity to uplift the brand presence within these relevant accounts – primary focus in new door openings within adidas branded space areas.

Reebok Classic Brand Activation

Department Specific Responsibilities:

· To support delivery of the Brand Activation plans with identified wholesale partners, to uplift the brand image and drive rate of sales objectives and relevant KPIs which are -
· Launch with impact
· In-store presence
· Consumer targeting
· Support the process of delivering all ISC requirements by category & account
· To Support the execution of the brand activation Plan for relevant national accounts and to ensure category consistency.
· To support the planning, co-ordination and implementation of all brand activation concepts and launches
· To support all in store event and promotional activity in line with the omni channels calender
· To measure the success of all campaigns in order to identify the successful marketing tools and ensure KPI’s were met

Sports Marketing

Department Specific Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain excellent five star service focus by identifying and addressing day to day operational issues.
· Act as point of contact in Team Managers absence.
· Collate information for review at order book reviews, Aligned logistics meetings and other business meetings undertaken.
· Hold regular individual reviews.
· Challenge working methods and practices when required and provide creative solutions and clarity for the Sports Marketing Department.
· Proactively optimize service levels through timely and accurate planning of stock requirements and effective order book management.
· Work closely with the customer service team co-ordinating the placement of future buys and reconciles.
· Attend monthly aligned logistic meetings to track the order book and request improvements.
· Work with the Sports Marketing Services Manager to review current stock holdings both in the SAP system and at the GOK Warehouse by monthly order book reviews.
· Managing the delivery of product and kit drops to the SM asset.
· Ensure timely storage requests, picks and deliveries are inputted through the GOK Warehouse system.
· Attending to the needs of our contracted symbols by checking availability and processing product requests through SAP and/or arranging store visits.
· Support Sports Marketing Services Manager to resolve supply chain issues, working closely with the Category Management, Demand Planning and Operations teams to improve supply chain efficiencies.
· Liaison with 3rd Party Embellishers to confirm requirements and co -ordinate flow of product to hit appropriate timelines.
· Support the Sports Marketing Manager in the process of forecasting, tracking and facilitating the product supply via PRS /SMSU /Mi team/Athlete care / 3rd Party. (including Made to Measure)
· Coordinate the flow of incoming invoices to ensure validity and accuracy of coding prior to sign off by the Sports Marketing Manager.
· Liaise with licensees/distributors to deliver product to assets as required by the Sports Marketing Manager.
· Communicating budget information on a monthly basis; including GOK spend and promat report (Store Visits) against category budget and individual player VIK allowances.
· Coordinating and executing the direct supply/Player/Co-sponsor/NGB’s requirements where relevant.
· Support the Sports Marketing manager with additional sample needs when required for the likes of product sign off and photography.
· In conjunction with the Sports Marketing manager meet with external contacts and suppliers when required to support and improve processes and relationships.
· Consistently display professional manner when dealing with internal and external contacts.
