Purpose

Assist in the development and implementation of the content and messaging strategy supporting the adidas eCommerce business. Manage assigned category activation plans and related timelines for both product and brand stories to ensure consistent consumer experience on and off site. Share and leverage data to improve content to support a consumer-centric marketing and site experience. Collaborate with cross functional partner to deliver on aggressive eCommerce goals while maintaining a premium brand experience

Key Accountabilities

· Assist in developing the eCommerce marketing activation strategy and seasonal planning for assigned category(ies).
· Input into and communicate the seasonal marketing activation calendar in collaboration with cross-functional teams in marketing channels, merchandising, buying, user-experience, retail and brand marketing to ensure transparency and alignment among all stakeholders.
· Manage the timelines, briefing and creation of commercial site and channel content, ensuring consistency with brand creative direction.
· Leverage data and testing, in partnership with User Experience (UX), Analytics and Channel teams, to inform creative briefs and best practices.
· Collaborate with Analytics and UX to ensure proper site tagging to inform user flows and content effectiveness.
· Participate in the Creative Review process and leverage outputs to influence future executions.
· Clearly communicate adidas strategies and initiatives to internal stakeholders and external partners/agencies to ensure proactive support and achievement of commercial and brand goals.
· Participate in weekly and seasonal planning meetings with Digital Brand Commerce, Business Units, Newsroom, and eCom partners locally and globally.
· Work in collaboration with brand and digital teams to ensure inclusion of eCommerce goals in all relevant campaigns and social media initiatives.
· In coordination with Campaign Operations and Brand marketing, manage the timely execution of content delivery to the site to align with overall activation calendar.
· Manage internal resources and external agency partners as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

· Demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills
· Strong brand understanding and delivering a premium consumer experience is critical in this role
· Forward thinking, innovative mindset
· Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer business, eCommerce/Retail, competitive/business environment and consumer behavior
· Working knowledge of Web and Digital marketing analytics
· Proven ability to develop innovative strategies and drive creativity while maintaining ROI
· Strong collaborator with an ability to partner and influence
· Strong project management and planning skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong and flexible personality, to build relationships
· Ability to deliver effective and persuasive presentations that support business decisions
· Understanding of sporting goods industry and related retail channels a plus
· Familiarity with digital traffic driving methods and their creative needs.

Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of eCommerce or digital marketing experience, preferably with a sporting or consumer goods company or equivalent account management experience at an agency.
· Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
