VM Planning Manager – EM South

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Ensure industry-leading visual merchandising planning of all adidas product throughout all channels (incl KA, FA, OR, FO’s, Franchise). Drive brand leadership at every consumer’s touch point, to maximize full-price sell-through and NPS.

Key Responsibilities

· Work across all channels, Own Retail, Franchise & WHS (SiS & Branded Spaces) to create comprehensive Visual Merchandising plans.
· Create seasonal guidelines and training manuals for all channels.
· Working closely with the RSM & VM Planning Manager and Range Managers to look after the VM aspect of campaigns and execute Visual Merchandise planning across the Business Units.
· Knowledge of the retail journey and insight into the customer service experience is key.
· Execute and leverage key category strategies for seasonal and new product launches.
· Lead the planning of VM for new store openings and bubble plans.
· Coordination and management of VM elements, distribution admin and store communication.
· Support the window implementation, in-store merchandising and assembling of marketing materials.
· Effective communication and liaising with staff at head office and store level.
· Department administration.
· Creation of reports and analysis of executions.
· Contributes to the achievement of team objectives and KPIs.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in visual merchandising, trade or sales and marketing, sport or fashion industry.
· Experience in retail store architecture design/ development preferable.
· Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
· Detail oriented, organized and dynamic.
· Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop skills a bonus.
· Good interpersonal, negotiation & influencing skills.
· Good Project Management expertise.
· Functional experience with Sales/Retail, ideally as Visual Merchandising Manager.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Experience and passion for a cross-functional organization.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· University degree in Business with Marketing focus as an advantage and/or a minimum of 3-4 years in Marketing and/or Sales and/or Visual Merchandising and/or Branded Retail.
· Experience in consumer and/or sporting goods industries is preferred
· Fluent in English.
