Purpose

Manage actively projects for innovative, technical and complex products with the respective business partners and directly interact with Liaison Offices (LO).

Act as an advocate for Footwear Product Testing and manage related processes by supporting all Footwear Categories, global business partners and Liaison Offices (LO) to ensure that adidas products meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of fit and comfort, performance and product quality and achieve BU and GOPs strategy and targets.

Key Accountabilities

·  Manage complex and innovative projects or complex and technically challenging products across different Business Units / Footwear Categories and coordinate and communicate related Product Testing activities
·  Handle special stand-in situations by supporting all business categories in cooperation with the respective Team Leader Product Integrity
·  Manage Last approval process and related testing for all Footwear Categories. Be the main global expert for the 3D foot scanning device and ensure database, software and hardware is always up to date and used in the Last release process. Lead related technical training sessions.
·  Manage the onboarding process for new team members/apprentices. Organize appointments and trainings with related departments in order to serve and support the business needs.
·  Support/guide Managers Product Testing within the team in all aspects of Product Testing related questions
·  Be the main FW Quality point person for world-wide OC/T1 Testing activities and create, organize and coordinate yearly audits in the different locations

·  Be the champion for all IT systems used in the Product Testing area and act as point person to IT and other business partners. Conduct related User Acceptance Tests and ensure systems are always up to date

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

·  Expert knowledge in all areas of Product Testing
·  Broad knowledge in the remaining areas of the product creation process
·  Expertise for high complexity projects/products and related testing
·  Ability to coach and train people at different level and discipline
·  Effective communication and negotiation skills
·  Team player with the ability to work with people
·  Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
·  Ability to travel by aircraft/train/car, domestic and international

Qualifications

·  University degree with focus on Footwear Manufacturing, Engineering, Material and/or Sport Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in the adidas Group Product Testing area
·  Equivalent 3-4 years of work experience in the footwear industry with focus on Project Management, Manufacturing, Testing or Marketing
