Purpose:

To support category business success within guidelines set by Western Europe Business Units and Global through execution of the category plan. Support locally based counterparts as category ambassador for the Nordic Market.

Key Responsibilities:

· Be the ambassador and local expert of the respective category both internally and externally
· Act as the key contact to local sales teams and category champions on specific topics & concepts
· Assist and input into Western Europe Business Unit on local ranging and forecasting topics such as data, mark-up, pricing maintenance, segmentation, etc.
· Give input on country price-grouping and submit requests exception throughout the pricing process
· Consult and brief on consistent Showroom concept across location to ensure strategy and guidelines are followed
· Support local allocation split process by channel, account and doors
· Be the key contact to Brand activation teams on Go To Market process
· Act as local “Lead”-Country expert and provide Wester Europe with input and business opportunities for respective location

In alignment with Market Western Europe Business Unit;

· Manages sample order process
· Explore and drive business opportunities together with the local sales teams and ensure local input for analytics and development areas
· Support Western Europe Sales Launch events
· Tailor and execute the category plan (product, communication tools, activation tools, Sports Marketing support, etc.) to respective Sales team, in order to support sell-in process
· Support, drive and steer existing business projects both in locally and in Western Europe

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
· 3-5+ years of Merchandising Experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience
· Fluent in English (writing and verbal)
· IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
· Cross functional marketing knowledge and market experience preferably within sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories.
· Consumer-focused with a pro- active mindset, engaging & impact-oriented
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures
· Good communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business
· Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

This is a temporary role(1 year)with the possibility of extension
