Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

In adidas we believe that data is the new oil, as it is what will help us better understand our consumers, enhance their experience and connect them to their passion. In the Newsrooms and Digital Analytics team we promote a new fact-based marketing to drive our brand digital strategy. The Manager Analytics has a passion for measurements and insight techniques to maximize the ROI of marketing and advertising across social media channels; Focuses on the China regional hub () and ensure that the global digital framework meets the local needs; is the key source of insights for our regional content teams to create engaging stories. Key Responsibilities:

· Independently provide digital analytics services (social/mobile/web) to achieve our business goals
· Collect high level requirements from the user community/business leadership, in particular the hub editorial team and the markets brand digital stakeholders
· Work independently and collaborative, by maintaining a strong relationship with the Global Digital Team and ensure sharing and consistency with them
· Collect KPIs, reports and dashboards needs and derive actionable insights to support the effectiveness of marketing spend
· Maintain the analytics toolbox, enabling the brand marketing organization to work data driven and have timely actionable insights
· Ensure that the data is relevant and accurate
· Provide reporting and insights to the decision makers
· Challenge the status quo by monitoring the market for innovative solutions
· Keep up to date on the developments of the social/mobile/digital ecosystem (key trends in technologies, players, vendors, etc.)
· Assist in generating actionable insights to support campaign optimization
· Design, specify, produce and at times build reports and dashboards
· Assist with developing and measuring marketing stimuli (A/B and multi-variant) test results in collaboration with creative, media, and technology teams to build robust marketing and advertising strategies
· Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns

Key Relationships:

· All Digital stakeholders from the hub: In order to collect, validate and align scope and requirements
· Global Brand/Digital Experience: For ensuring consistency in the KPI, the toolbox and the overall analytics framework
· Service providers and vendors: For coordinating the needed changes and for overlooking the quality of the services and organizing the quality assurance for the service and deliverables

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Broad knowledge and understanding of Chinese social media, digital and mobile business
· Minimum of 5 years exposure in digital environment including 3 years of hands-on analytics responsibility.
· Must possess strong knowledge of open source statistical analysis languages such as R or Python and database structures / query languages (SQL).
· Hands on experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Sysomos a plus
· Experience with APIs / Mobile SDK a plus
· Knowledge of Wechat / Weibo ad products and back-end management portals a plus.
· Excellent analytical, numerical, strategic and influencing skills
· Strong communication skills, ensuring that insights are understood and translated into actions
· Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
· Passion for sports.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· College/university degree from an accredited institution with a major in engineering, statistics, information systems, mathematics, or economics is preferred.
· 5+ years of progressive work experience
