Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

· Support Category and Procurement Leadership with analytics, value tracking and budget integration;
· Analyze procurement and supplier performance and resulting budget impacts by combining internal and external data and applying business intelligence concepts.

Key Responsibilities
:

Support Category and Procurement Leadership with functional and market insights;

· Collect data and conduct analyses on internal factors such as spend and customer requirements, analyze historic spend data and identify trends and patterns, generate reports with the respective findings, the scenarios considered and recommended actions to the respective stakeholders;
· Support Category and Procurement Strategy and its processes optimization by continually monitoring performance and providing recommendations for actions;
· Create quantitative analysis to drive business decisions and strategy;
· Explore large data sets giving meaning to data and numbers;
· Identify opportunities and issues and present data to stakeholders;
· Design and implement metrics, reports and dashboards;

· Support value tracking and budget integration;
· Monitor savings (identified and realized) and create reporting on saving progress;
· Regularly prepare variance reports (e.g. budget versus actuals on spend, realized savings) and escalate issues properly;
· Produce standard and ad hoc business intelligence reports as required;
· Execute, verify, modify, and share reports according to pre-defined reporting schedules;
· Create and communicate reports on regular basis based on defined list of KPIs;
· Support Procurement organization with activity analysis and exception reporting (e.g. reporting activities of e-catalogues or user portal);
· Ensure knowledge transfers and exchange by storing and maintaining (analytical) project deliverables and templates in the knowledge repositories.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent knowledge in Procurement analytics (e.g. analyzing spend, demand, savings);
· Advanced knowledge in Excel;
· Knowledge of SAP SRM;
· P2P system awareness;
· Database Management (e.g. SQL, Oracle, Access);
· Experience with reporting tools and data Visualization (e.g. MSTR, Qlik, Tableau, BI);
· Experience with data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Hive);
· Ability to understand and interpret data;
· Basic Soft Programming;
· Desire to work in an international environment with minimum direction;
· Strong capability to independently interact with different stakeholders;
· Action and solution oriented with team player with high degree of self-management
· Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· A bachelor’s degree with emphasis on the areas of Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science & Statistics;
· 3+ years of relevant experience interpreting data in BI, Analytics or Data Science.
