Purpose and overall relevance for the organization:

As the Marketing and Design Application Specialist, you are responsible for the release and deployment of business critical applications within the adidas client environment (Design, 3D and Virtualization software).

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the release of critical custom developed and “off the shelf” applications (Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator plug-ins such as Astute Graphics) for Marketing Operations and Client Management 
· Ensure application specifications are well documented, tested, and packaged for immediate release, deployment, and available to end users in a timely manner
· Act as the primary interface and entry point to Marketing Operations application owners, provide stakeholder management and ensure that Client Management delivers applications on time with the right priority and with the best possible end user experience
· Apply optimal testing techniques and checks to ensure software installation works as per the provided documentation
· Create unattended and silent installation packages in .pkg or .dmg format including, scripts (Bash, Casper), custom .plist (XML), pre and post installation actions.
· Import packages within the deployment infrastructure (Casper JSS) and performing necessary quality control based on a test check-list
· Create Casper deployment policies, pre and post installation scripts
· Researching and troubleshooting installation defects and making necessary adjustments in documentation
· Communicating status and issues to the Global Application Release Management (ARM) Team, software deployment, and Marketing Operations teams
· Managing and Maintaining a Virtual Test Lab using VMWare Fusion or Vcenter (installing Windows and Mac OS corporate images, Creating/Deleting/reverting Snapshot)

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Excellent knowledge of commonly used Marketing & Design third-party applications (Adobe Creative Cloud, Astute Graphics, Maya 3D, Sketchbook Pro.)

Excellent knowledge of MAC OSX operating system.
· 
Excellent knowledge of Jamf Casper Suite and experience in software distribution concept and processes.
· 
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
· 
Strong knowledge with Mac Application Packaging with Composer or third-party packaging tools for Mac.
· Good knowledge in scripting language such as Bash or Shell.
· Good knowledge in managing Virtual Machines using VMware Fusion or Vcenter.
· Ability to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets.
· Strong communication and organization skills.
· Strong negotiation and demand management capabilities.
· Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
·

Requisite Education:

· At least 1 years’ experience testing software in a Mac environment.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
· 
“Apple Certified Desktop Professional” or “Casper Certified Administrator” certification would be a plus.
· 
ITIL processes and/or certification is preferred.
