Material Development: We know how to create great products!

As an intern you will be directly involved in the complete product development process from design and initial prototyping to final release. Be a full and responsible member of the team and support us to become better every day!

We are  Material Development / Material Innovation:

· We are managing the material development process as part of the product creation team. This includes all stages: material research, fabric engineering, lab testing and sourcing. We drive sustainability as part of the adidas material strategy.

Possible tasks are among the following:

· Assist the material development team in daily business such as developing new material with our suppliers, researching on new and existing materials technologies, preparing of material presentations, but as well with administrative tasks like creating material boards, maintaining the fabric library, etc.
· Support the development team on current projects and own individual projects as assigned e.g. handling of small ranges
· Support innovation projects and initiatives in the area of sustainable materials
· Thesis: We actively support your thesis with interesting topics

Your Profile:

· Student of textile engineering, garment technology design or comparable programs
· Enrolled as fulltime student for the complete duration of the internship. Or in the so called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (Only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations!)
· Good textile technology skills; basic understanding of materials and costing
· Good computer skills including MS Office and graphic programs such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
· Highly motivated team player who enjoys working in an international team
· Attention to details
· Fluency in English
