Internship at the adidas Group

The purpose of this internship is to provide the internship student with experience of the practical application of theoretical knowledge the internship student has already acquired at university and to acquire new skills and knowledge. This internship description contains tasks and responsibilities that will be learned step by step and the internship student will be accompanied by adidas employees at all times. adidas International/ Marketing /Trading B.V. will ensure that the internship student is given tasks and responsibilities according to the level of competence of the student and the educational objectives for the internship period. The internship student will sign an internship agreement, which is not an employment contract.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Identification of counterfeit and infringing products.
· Assisting in trade mark prosecution matters, such as filing of new trade marks, renewals and name changes.
· Preparing supporting evidence for trade mark filings, oppositions and trade mark enforcement cases (evidence of use, trade mark overviews, etc.)
· Conducting model name clearance searches and assisting the other team members with some clearance projects in relation to names and designs.
· General secretarial work (such as handling of correspondence, archiving and scanning of documents)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Student of law - Enrolled for the complete duration of the internship (EU citizens only! Only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations.)
· Fluent in English (both verbally and written)
· Good organizational and administrative skills;
· Enthusiastic, energetic, honest person with great interest in sports
· Eager to learn and assist others
· Team Player
· Basic knowledge of IP is a must
