Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Part of a small team of experts who act as a commercial business partner to global sports marketing for one of the leading sports brands.
The Intern will provide legal, functional and administrative support to ensure effective performance of the GSM Legal & Commercial Affairs department.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of all relevant legal documents and templates for the Global Sports Marketing Legal & Commercial Affairs department, including sponsorship/licensing contracts with international athletes, players, clubs and sport federations; marketing services agreements with agencies and media houses; and terms and conditions for digital promotions, competitions and other activations.
Legal research projects.
Preparation and drafting of contracts, other legal documentation and correspondence with an emphasis on accurate processing and management of documents.
Support to the department (five lawyers) and communicate and liaise with those in contact with the lawyers of the department with respect to all legal/contractual related matters.
Co-ordination with external legal counsels.
Assist the Senior Counsel and other lawyers in international transactions, negotiations and other special commercial projects, as may be requested from time to time.
Preparation of presentations and training seminars for staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Fluent in English (both verbally and written) and understanding of legal English in commercial contracts.
Legal research skills, including ability to present concise and accurate information to non-legally trained staff.
Enthusiastic, energetic, honest person.
Independent worker but a team player.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Professional and approachable, is capable to function in cross cultural working environment.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Student - University level Legal studies
Excellent MS office skills (in particular MS Powerpoint & MS Excel)
