Purpose:

This position will take both operational and strategic roles to support the continuing growth of the market through attracting and acquiring top talent, within Retail division and back office. The position will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the organisation to deliver the best talent to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for recruiting diverse talent.
· Ownership of the entire recruitment process including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview, reference/background checks and offer process.
· Build strong working relationships with HR and Hiring Managers.
· Highlight trends and themes discovered by working with internal customers, talking to candidates and staying on top of market trends.
· Develop and execute assessment centres for high volume hiring for our retail division.
· Leverage candidate databases (internal and external) to identify prospective candidates to create awareness and invite them to apply for open positions including cold calling prospects.
· Provides coaching and advice to candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
· Conduct weekly check-ins with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting process for each role.
· Build and maintain candidate pools of strong former candidates and new prospective candidates and build proactive talent pipelines by closely working with the Manager, Talent Team.
· Utilize recruitment systems effectively following key standards, documenting key actions and ensuring all data is accurate for reporting purposes.
· Support planning and gathering information for quarterly review meetings with key customers that will provide an overview of recruiting achievements as well as opportunities to improve hiring performance moving forward.
· Plan and participate in strategic planning meetings with key business partners to understand current and upcoming requirements in order to build a plan on how to effectively recruit for positions.
· Support additional recruitment initiatives as needed.
· Stay abreast and current on latest recruiting and industry trends to continuously evolve candidate pipe line and service levels.

· End to end recruitment experience at a variety of levels.
· Passionate about recruiting top talent demonstrated by high level of energy, positive & upbeat attitude.
· Proven ability to use behavioural interviewing techniques.
· Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making skills. Able to manage confidential and sensitive information and use appropriately.
· Strong organization, multi-tasking and follow-up skills in order to manager high volume recruitment.
· Advanced MS Office skills and experience in applicant tracking systems
· Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.

Minimum Qualifications:

· University degree

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, retail field hiring experience is a plus
· Track record for delivering high impact customer experiences

· Strong proficiency with technology and grasping new technology solutions
· Track record of driving globally recruiting initiatives (i.e. proactive recruiting, internal recruiting, diversity, etc) and achieving goals
· Demonstrated ability to drive holistic recruitment strategy (i.e. employer branding, social recruiting, etc.)
