Key Responsibilities:

Functional:

· Place purchase orders as requested by Business Planning, with correct sizes and dates
· Ensure Purchase orders are transferred to GPS within timelines
· Update the POs in adirace, after being actioned with GOPS on the minimum analysis report in line with the actions specified by Business Planning and the timelines advised by GOPS
· Action Pre-pack requirements
· Create stock transport orders (stock transfers)
· Maximize the number of orders that are created as 1:1 links with sales orders
· Create weekly tracking documents for launch specific articles.
· Track all samples and point of sale product in and advise Marketing where articles/sizes not bought
· Execute confirmations on a daily basis
· Monitor on a weekly basis unconfirmed, changed, late outstanding orders
· Action all airfreight and sea-air requests with GOPS
· Update Airfreight register to ensure concise and complete list available
· Establish and maintain good communication and relationships with GOPS personnel
· Run weekly checks and action to ensure consistency in delivery dates between the confirmation system and Purchase order
· File/archive buying information and correspondence
· Action e-mail queries from GOPS and internal customers and update accordingly
· Review Aligned Logistics reports and investigate where required , attend fortnightly Aligned Logistics meetings to review order book and update sales order text where needed

· Customer Services Team, Business Planning team, Inbound Planning Team-, IT team, Global Operations Teams, Liaison Office Teams, In-House Warehouse Management , Marketing services, Customs Clearance team, External Customers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· High degree of self-motivation and self-management
· Strong analytical skills
· Operations as wells as commercial mindset
· Experience in (cross functional / regional or global) project management and Lean6Sigma tools
· Demonstrating initiative and acting result oriented
· Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
· Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and efficiently on different layers of the organization
· Competent user in Microsoft Office applications

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Educated to ‘O’ level standard, but in addition to showing evidence of the requisite competencies the candidate/incumbent must demonstrate the following:

· Good organization and time management skills
· Good written and spoken English: a good communicator
· IT skills: Intermediate Excel ideally required but will accept beginners level, Outlook and business objects and MS Access desirable
· Flexible and an adaptable approach to work
· An enjoyment of detail, a love of accuracy and a tenacity for making things balance
