Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Help build and execute WE Account Marketing and Activation Plans for Runners Point and Sidestep (part of Foot Locker Europe Group) that deliver significant business growth and improvement in our Brand Health KPIs working in close co-operation with the European Key Account Sales and Merchandise Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Help define an aligned seasonal marketing calendar incorporating all relevant aspects of product, retail and brand activity
· Execute with excellence the seasonal
Account Marketing Calendar’ to ensure that adidas wins at the point of purchase by category, in key doors and online against the agreed KPI’s
· Deliver and execute the EKA activation strategy and roadmap
· In each fascia and through all channels help develop and execute consumer activation activity against targeted categories / concepts across all channels and platforms.
· Secure the highest share of space, within key destination doors and locations
· Secure sell through and consumer engagement with share growth ensuring all commercial and strategic goals are met
· Measure the effectiveness of the account activation plans ensuring execution with excellence visually and via sell out
· Manage the seasonal activation calendar process from virtual download to instore and online implementation including all account interaction meetings ensuring smooth process.
· Understand product, customer and consumer needs from the European markets and all channels
· Represent the brand activation point of view both internally and externally
· Responsible and accountable for the execution and implementation process for toolkits needed from briefing customer requirements to deployment
· Closely co-operate with Global Brand Comms team and WE Brand Comms team to secure a best practice level of implementation of global strategy in Western Europe
· Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success
· Manage budgets and costs within agreed measures
· Understand the European consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor concepts and support tools
· Accountable and responsible for the visibility to all markets of EKA brand activation to relevant country and global teams through process management and communication process

Key Relationships:

· Marketing, Sales, Merchandising & Operations teams responsible for RPG at adidas
· Global and Western Europe BU Brand Comms teams
· Cluster / Country Marketing teams within the adidas organization
· WE eCom / Digital activation Teams
· RPG Marketing Team (based in Recklinghausen, Germany)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Affinity with Sports industry / brands or similar
· Up-to-date with latest Marketing trends (Retail, Digital, Media, PR)
· Familiar with agency briefings
· High professional maturity
· Highly collaborative with strong communication skills
· High influencing skills and ability to make fact based decisions
· Analytical skills
· Structured, organized and process orientated
· Experience in Trade Marketing or Brand Marketing
· Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global)
· Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
· Ability to work independently
· Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
· Fluent in English, ideally also German speaking
· Driving license (B) is a must

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· University degree in business preferred, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
· Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing or Account Marketing: 1 year.
