Web Developer (HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL) - Adept - Norwich

Job description

We are looking for a web developer to join our team producing and maintaining websites for a range of clients, primarily within the charity sector. We work to a high level, and aim to produce high quality websites, and offer a high level of customer service to our users. You'll get to work with some great organisations and really make a difference through your work.

As a web developer at Adept, you would be expected to work on many aspects of a web project:

Producing HTML/CSS templates for content managed sites
Building websites in a CMS
Producing bespoke PHP code with MySQL database for custom functionality
Using Javascript/Jquery to implement additional front end functionality
Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite

The successful applicant will also be involved with providing technical support to our clients, supporting both the hosting and providing assistance using the websites CMS to update the content of the sites. As such a range of additional skills will be required:

Good telephone manor and written English skills
Ability to learn quickly, and think on your feet
Linux/Cpanel administration skills desirable
Ability to debug problems/bugs and provide fixes

You will work alongside other members of our team, including web designers and web developers. Ability to work well with others to continuously improve the quality of our output and bring new and innovative solutions is key to success within the agency.

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), based in our office in Aylsham, Norwich. It's a great place to work, while we expect you to work hard and get results, we try to be relaxed. We operate a flex-time policy and have some good perks like loads of free food and drinks!
