Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk - Permanent - Liverpool

I am currently working closely with a specialist employer to the Liverpool market who is seeking to appoint a proven Purchase Ledger Clerk on a Part Time basis.

Due to an internal promotion, there is an urgent need for someone to start immediately, interviews are being pencilled in now for January.

The successful applicant will join a growing team and be accountable for the entire AP remit. An AAT studier, knowledge of processing invoices on Sage line 50 and good technical MS Excel skills would be of particular importance and highly beneficial.

You will also be familiar to processing high volumes, managing internal/external queries, preparing invoices for the weekly Bacs payment run, month end close, supplier statement reconciliations.

Please note: my client is pretty flexible on the working hours, i.e completing 25 hours over 3,4 or 5 days, this role would certainly suit someone who is looking to work school hours.

Ideally you will:

• Be seeking a part time accounts role in Liverpool City centre and immediately available for work
• Have a proven Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable background
• Be studying AAT (or equivalent) with the experience and ability to process accurately large volumes of invoices
• Be a confident individual, self motivated, enjoy being part of a team, good initiative, ability to resolve problems, excellent communication skills
• Be proficient in Sage line 50, strong MS Excel (pivots/look ups)
