On behalf of our client Adecco Kendal are recruiting for a Site Waste Operative on a temporary basis with view to going permanent.

Responsibilities include:

·  ensuring the day-to-day effective operation of the Household Waste Recycling Centre in accordance with environmental and health & safety legislation.

·  assisting members of the public in the safe disposal of recyclables

·  daily completion of site records

·  maintaining a clean and safe operating environment

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, over 5 days, with a 30 min lunch break each day including some weekend working for which an hourly enhancement will be paid above the normal hourly rate of pay.

Candidates must have a flexible approach to working hours as the 5 day shift pattern may be changed at short notice to meet the operational needs of the business. Candidates should note this work can be physically demanding at peak periods and you will be working outside in all seasons.
