Technical Support

Adecco Welwyn Garden City are working alongside a brilliant client based in Hatfield. They are currently recruiting for a Technical Support role to work alongside the Technical Manager in the busy and growing team.

Job Title: Technical Support
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum
Location: Hatfield
Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30am-4:30pm)
Benefits: 20 days' holiday per annum plus bank holidays and lunch provided by company for all office based employees

Main duties of the role:

·  Creating purchase and sales orders

·  Creating picking lists

·  Invoicing

·  Creating/issuing reports upon completion of works

·  Manage the Customer Service email enquiries (monitor/categorise queries)

·  Providing technical support and liaising with engineers on site

·  Provide support for installers and sub-contractors (Toolbox talks etc)

·  Maintain a strong audit trail on the server and ERP and general administration duties

·  Any other adhoc tasks

Seeking a candidate with the following:

·  Excellent communication - written and verbal

·  Full UK license is a MUST

·  IT literate

·  Able to work with tight deadlines

·  Able to work under high pressure

·  Previous experience in a heating/plumbing company preferable

·  Presentable, personal and articulate

There is a technical element of the role, so previous experience in the construction industry or a technical role would be preferable, and if no previous experience is held the candidate needs to show a strong "can do" attitude and be willing to learn.

You will need to be able to work pro-actively and efficiently to complete the duties of this role.
