Position: Supply Chain Planner

Industry: Automotive

Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound material flow while maintaining optimum inventory levels. Your main duties will include:

·  Analysing MRP schedule requirements and collaborating with suppliers for necessary schedule changes.

·  Ensuring material supply meets production requirements while managing transport costs within financial budgets.

·  Expediting materials when shortages are identified and communicating potential shortages with the operations team.

·  Tracking and monitoring supplier performance, conducting regular performance reviews to drive improvement.

·  Escalating poor supplier performance to the Purchasing team.

·  Reviewing material planning parameters to optimise inventory holding for consistent production.

·  Taking ownership of material planning issues, including over or under delivery, and taking appropriate follow-up actions.

·  Managing inventory risk and implementing contingency plans.

·  Working with the Order Management team to place orders on internal entities worldwide.

·  Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage any changes to the product or process.

·  Complying with the company QHSE policy and related requirements at all times.

·  Completing any other reasonable requests made by line management.

Skill Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

·  Similar experience in the automotive industry.

·  Computer literacy, including AX skills.

·  Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·  Attention to detail and accuracy in your work.

·  Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload effectively.
