Do you have previous Stock Control experience?

Raising and processing purchase orders?

Ordering from suppliers on a weekly basis?

My client a family run food distribution company based in Maidenhead are looking for a Stock Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your overall duties will involve;

� Forecast planning in line with seasonal and customer changes.

� Maintain inventory levels in line with sales demand and forecast.

� Raise and process Purchase Orders with suppliers.

� Monitor and Process supplier price change data.

� Raise spread sheets in support of costs associated with imported goods.

� Awareness of financial controls.

� Understanding of warehouse capacities and capabilities.

� Maintain Inventory Accuracy through Perpetual Inventory checks.

� Maintain Inventory Location System within IMS.

� Identify Non Performing Inventory.

� Assist with quarterly stock takes.

� Inventory adjustments - Stock loss / Stock gain / damages.

� Maintain and Issue Diary for w/h goods in activity.

� Monitor and arrange return of empty kegs with various suppliers.

� Provide assistance and support for a variety of warehouse functions.

REQUIREMENTS

� 2 years previous experience in a similar role.

PREFERENCES

� Knowledge of industry software (INTACT) or previous experience with similar inventory management systems ( IMS )

SKILLS

� Good analytical mindset within data processing.

� PC literate with intermediate proficiency in office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook).

� Excellent organisation, communication and administration skills.

� Work well under pressure to deadlines, attention to detail.
