Stock Controller

Location: Harlow, Essex

Salary/Rate: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Type: Permanent, full time

Start Date: ASAP

Adecco Harlow are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller on behalf of our award-winning client based in Harlow, Essex. This is an exciting full time, permanent position within a globally recognised, career developing business.

Main Purpose of Role:

This is an important role within the business reporting directly to the Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an effective stock control system and stock file integrity, via agreed processes and procedures in line with company and ISO9001 audit requirements.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

·  Stock analysis

·  Providing detailed reports

·  Investigating stock throughout the business

·  Plan production in line with demand and lead times

·  Develop process audits to drive adherence to Stock processes

·  Ensure stock accuracy whilst working closely with the distribution teams to ensure effective movement of stock throughout the business.

·  Ensure all adjustments to stock are accurate, traceable, reported and approved on daily basis.

·  Deal with customer related issues using structured problem-solving methodologies to company timescales facilitating the investigation and response to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction.

·  Contribute to the implementation of ISO9001 accreditation

·  Contribute to the implementation of Stock Management Control system & SAP

Ideal candidate and personal qualities:

·  Experienced in ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance

·  Proven track record of achievement within the realms of Stock Control Management

·  Demonstrable knowledge of Stock Control principles

·  Skills and experience across a range of measuring and inspection methods

·  PC Literate, with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & other software / systems

·  SAP experience (desirable)

Other:

·  Two stage interview process
