An opportunity has arisen for a Shipping Operations Coordinator to work for a well established transportation company based locally.

Your key duties will include:

* Planning the logistic requirements for the successful export and import of orders
* Ensuring booking confirmation from shipping line is received and the correct details are communicated to the customer
* Ensure that all transport documentation ( Bill of Lading/Customs Documentation) is dealt with accurately
* Deal with any supplier problems and provide alternative solutions
* Ensure billing procedures are handled accurately

The most suitable candidate will have previous experience working within shipping/logistics, with excellent computer skills and clear communication skills. You will be working in a fast paced, reactive environment so individuals that can cope well under pressure would be most suited.
