Senior Architect

Job description

Our client, a leading government department, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join their team for a 24-month contract. In this role, you will be supporting a large-scale initiative that will have a significant impact on the procurement arrangements for the next 15 years, affecting over 230,000 civil servants across four departments.

As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in replacing the existing system with a new oracle-based product. Your main responsibility will be to provide architectural support to the client, working closely with the other departments to ensure a smooth transition. Your expertise will be instrumental in understanding the functions required for the new system and ensuring its successful implementation.

Key details of the role:

- Daily rate: £799 (inside IR35)

·  Predominantly remote-based with occasional travel to Leeds and Manchester

- Contract duration: 24 months

Requirements:

·  Extensive experience as an Oracle Architect

·  Strong knowledge of architecture principles and best practises

·  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

·  Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

·  Previous experience in the public sector or government departments is highly desirable.
