Job description

Our client based of the outskirts of Worcester is looking for an experienced administrator to join their busy team.

Overview of job is as follows:

Inputting of purchase orders for our bespoke packaging orders and careful checking
Dealing with far eastern, European and Indian suppliers on a daily basis
Sending orders to the far east on a weekly basis and using MyDHL online services
Maintaining chaser reports which are sent to every supplier every 2 weeks - checking deliveries are on time / sometimes working to tight deadlines
Dealing with any queries regarding orders
Chasing customers for sign off of pre production samples
Answering the phones
Processing repeat orders for the sales team
Tele sales - contacting customers to see if they require repeat orders
Arranging air freight and sea shipments
Negotiating on prices received from suppliers
Checking supplier invoices and packing list
Filing
Postal duties

Sage 200, Microsoft packages, excel, word.

The role is a permanent position - hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Salary is around £15,500 - £17,500 pa

The skills that our client is looking for in this person will be computer literate, methodical, organised, able to prioritise workloads. The ability to work well within a team and also on their own initiative is essential. Administration experience is also a must. Adecco is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
